The mission of Austin Chapter of the NBMBAA is to lead in the creation of educational opportunities and economic growth for African American Professionals in Central Texas.  Our Chapter is comprised of a network of business professionals, business students, and entreprenuers whose goal is to share knowledge, build business skills, and generate employment opportunities in management fields. The NBMBAA Austin Chapter was established in December 2006.

*** NBMBAA - Austin Chapter Call for 2010-2012 Officer Nominations***

The Austin Chapter of the National Black MBA Association announces the call for candidates for the 2010-2012 Executive Leadership Team. Chapter Elections will be held on Thursday, September 9th at the Quarterly Membership Meeting. Early on-line voting will be held during the week of August 23rd – 27th. We have recently developed a structured Membership Orientation Program. The quarterly event is designed to enhance the new-member experience, as well as encourage prospective members to join by providing an overview of the chapter, member benefits , volunteer opportunities and available resources.

The Leaders of Tomorrow ® Program

The Leaders of Tomorrow ® Program is NBMBAA’s premier initiative directed toward the youth of our nation. Nationally, hundreds of high school students participate in various Leaders of Tomorrow mentoring programs, in which professionals help students improve their preparation for college and careers through academic support, professional development, public speaking coaching, networking, and discussions about success.
